Submission Information

The conference is open for researchers and students doing research on all aspects of cognitive science. The poster sessions will cover various fields of cognitive science, but the focus will be on posters related to the main topic of the conference.

To facilitate networking among researchers, there will be a great emphasis on the poster sessions. Up to 80 posters will be selected for presentation.

Poster selection is peer-reviewed on a strictly scientific basis. The abstracts of the posters should be a maximum of 200 words.

Authors of posters will be able to present their poster on a 1m x 2m size board (portrait orientation). Posters cannot exceed this size. The optimal size of the posters is A0.

Registration fees

Early bird registration deadline: 15 April 2020

Early bird member: 180 EUR
Early bird non-member: 240 EUR
Late reg. fee (after 15 April): 300 EUR

When participating in DUCOG for the first time (or with skipping DUCOG in one year), a "non-member" fee must be paid. After attendance of a DUCOG conference, participants become CECOG members, and the following year they will have to pay member fee only. Participants who attend each year will remain members.

Financial aid

Financial support may be available for up to 10 students affiliated with institutions in Central and Eastern Europe*. These students will be chosen on the basis of the quality of their abstract and can register to the conference for a reduced rate of 100 EUR.

*Central and Eastern Europe here means Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia.
